ICE has been providing services for over 9 years and we are looking for an intelligent and customer oriented Senior Networking Engineer with working experience with Linux/Unix systems administration. This is a full-time, permanent position. The position requires to design, implement and maintain networking infrastructure along with administrating Linux systems. Provide Information Technology support services, maintaining IT infrastructure, identifying and implementing solutions to enhance IT performance, reliability and redundancy. Provide proactive response to potential problems, and performing regular preventive maintenance. In addition, the incumbent will provide Linux/Unix systems administration services. Requires a minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in a service or ISP environment. Must have a high level of expertise in Networking, router, switches, firewall, WAN, Linux/Unix environments, including: samba, Postfix, Qmail, perl, Apache, NIS, NFS, etc., network, system, and data line monitoring software tools as well. Direct experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, SonicWall, and other network equipments, and engineering and implementing networking solutions is required. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certification in various technologies (Cisco, etc), is preferred.
